To help the staff and students develop research skills, An Giang University held a workshop on Research Methods on October 24th at Meeting Room 2.
Attending the workshop were Heads and Deputy Heads of An Giang University Offices, lecturers, and students. The workshop was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Lam – Lecturer of Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources.


Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Lam introduced the research methods, research paradigms, steps and procedures in doing research, origin of research topic, the values, hypotheses, research questions, research design, findings presentation... The presenter emphasized on the significance to identify the research problems, the relation between research aims, research methods, and assumptions. He particularly reminded the participants of research ethics.


At the workshop, the lecturers expected to be guided on how to choose good research topics, experimental design and data analysis in Economics discipline. The students also discussed about “me too research” issue in food processing and hoped to have access to reliable journals for references.


The workshop provided the staff and students with an opportunity to exchange information in doing research to promote research activities at An Giang University.
